Deeply engaged with the intersections of religion, culture, and ritual, Megan’s work does not strive for historical accuracy or faithful representation. Instead, she approaches these subjects with irony, probing the boundaries of cultural appropriation and the commodification of tradition.
As a craftsperson, she maintains a strong commitment to the discipline of making, particularly the process of wheel throwing, with a deep respect for material and technique.
